In April of this year (07) the Vision Board at Atonement granted me a protracted sabbatical experience where I would 
secure 5-6 weeks per year (for the next four years) for the purpose of continued study and spiritual renewal. After much prayer (note picture...yeah, I wish) I decided to apply for a second doctoral program through Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena California. The direction of the study, at least at this point, is missional leadership. The program is completed with short, intensive courses and utilizes one's ministry setting (Atonement) as a sort of laboratory for pressing learning into service and practice.
The purpose of this blog is help maintain contact with Atonement during my hiatus from the office.
